Occupation: HR Advisor.

Professional details:
I work for Terry White Management supporting Head Office staff.

I most feel like a Babe when:
I’m dressed up to the 9’s enjoying a nice glass of Sauv Blanc with my best girlfriends.

I love coming to work each day because:
I never know what to expect.

To me, work/life balance means:
Being able to achieve all I want to at work, but still spending enough quality time with my wonderful fiance Steve.

The one thing that got me where I am in my career today was:
Contacts! It’s all about who you know (and hopefully my 3 year business degree had some input too!).

I feel most challenged in my career when:
My team at work consist of me, myself and I, so it’s most challenging when I am confronted with a problem I could really use some support with.

I feel most successful in my career when:
I see my idea come to fruition and the positive feedback that follows.

The highlight of my career so far has been:
Being given the opportunity to set up the HR function at Terry White Management’s head office – something they haven’t had before. It took a lot of courage and a lot of hard work!

The best piece of advice I have ever received was:
Don’t let things stress you or get you down too much – is it really going to matter tomorrow, in a week, next year?

Next on my professional agenda is:
to grow my professional network of contacts and work more on my passions and what I love – writing, media, animals and helping others.

In ten years time I hope to be:
Raising a beautiful family, working in a role I am passionate about and still have time for me!

The best holiday I ever had was:
Last year for my dad’s 60th my family and I went on a three week holiday through Greece and Italy, which included a 7 day cruise up the Adriatic Coast. It was the most amazing experience and even better that I got to share it with my family.

If I was a pair of shoes, I would be a:
Comfy pair of slippers – while I love being out and about, there’s nothing better than the comfort of home.

If my life was a movie it would be a: (Genre)
a romantic comedy (or so I’d like to think?).

If my life was a movie, I would be played by:
(Actress) Rose Byrne, no real reason, I just love her!

If I was a superhero, my superpowers would be:
to be in two places at the same time!

Three things I never leave home without:
Lip balm, iPhone and my engagement ring (I am still in awe of it even after 9 months!).

My favourite piece of makeup is… because:
I’d have to say lipstick – a bright red can change your outfit from casual to glam in seconds, and can really change your mood – you can’t be sad when you have bright pink on your lips!

My word to the wise for all Babes in Business:
Be the best you can be with who you are and what you have.
