Director's letter

Dear Babes,

We welcomed Babes members and guests into 2010 with our first Foster's Miss-Behaving event on February 26th at the fabulous Cellar Bar at Cloudland. Babes enjoyed thirst quenching beverages courtesy of Foster's and delicious canapés from the chefs of Cloudland. It was a roaring success with all agreeing Cloudland and its new Cellar Bar is very impressive. What better way to end a hard working week than catching up with other savvy, successful, fabulous Babes!

We are very busy planning more wonderful events for you this year with our next being a Styling workshop at the beautiful Emporium Hotel with Style Magazine and Ascot's new store Hunt and Gather on April 14. Speaking of fabulous women, it was International Women's Day on Sunday 7th a time to reflect and celebrate! International Women's Day has been observed since the early 1900's, a time of huge population growth, turbulence and radical ideologies.

However, great improvements have been made. We do have female CEO's, doctors and prime ministers, women can work and have a family, women have real choices. And so International Women's Day has moved from being a reminder about the negatives to a celebration of the positives.

So with that in mind, be inspired, celebrate your achievements all month. What better time to join other women and become a member of Babes in Business with our special price until the end of March.
