Detox is worth doing

Not a day goes past now without experts calling our global way of life unsustainable.

We know of course that these challenges are the result of the sum of us: waste of precious mineral and water resources, poor farming practices, poor waste disposal techniques, chocking of our infrastructures, over-consumption, to name a few.

Yet in Australia the recent past has provided us the opportunity to understand the power of individual actions when faced by large and common problems. We have watched the residents of farms, towns and cities learn the power of individual actions and become waterwise.

How many of us really understand that the collective problems of our lifestyle are making our bodies work too hard too - understanding our own needs and addressing them can help the collective approach required to nurse our planet.

Answer these questions for yourself now:

  • Do you feel stressed most days?
  • Are those you love often stressed?
  • Do you drink too much alcohol?
  • How pure is the food you eat?
  • Is it fresh and therefore seasonal?
  • Where is it grown and how far does it travel?
  • Do you eat too much of the wrong things?
  • How balanced is your diet?
  • How well do you sleep and for how long?
  • Are you in contact with exhaust fumes?
  • Do you drink enough water?
  • How pure is that water?

How can we become truly body wise and look after our own part of the planet. The answer is "clean up and then "care for - what works for the environment as a whole works for us.

Some detox protocols can be dangerous - they shock the system and deplete the body of the good as well as the bad: a version of throwing the baby out with the bath water. Such methods require medical monitoring as the body is deprived of food for extended periods as if eating is the culprit not the environment that created the way we eat (on the run) and what we eat (the aisles of processed foods and fast food outlets are flourishing).

We are excited about the Ion Flush Energiser. A regular half hour session produces positive results - "the best sleep I have had for years, I feel lighter and more energetic, my mind seems clearer." Negative ions flood the body neutralising our acid wastes, mobilising heavy metals and flushing out the things that make our vital organs work too hard.

It would be a mistake to say you can go on living recklessly although the Ion Flush will lessen the impact while you do. There is no doubt we are all going to work out how we fit into global care and respect - there is no better place to start than to improve our own health and well being. Try a gentle detox - we recommend the Ion Flush.
