WINNER: Rachel Kayrooz

Rachel Kayrooz

The winner is a Babe who has overcame more challenges than most ... she was a victim of domestic violence but has turned her life around in the most spectacular fashion and uses her experience to help others.

She's a single mum to a child with special needs, she still finds time to help a local refuge and motivate the women into taking positive steps forward. Her passion, dedication and expertise was apparent to PM Kevin Rudd who appointed her to the National Council for Reducing Violence Against Women and their Children.

She has been approached by large American child-protection organisations to be a spokesperson, Erin Brokovich has asked her to contribute a blog to her community website and is currently pursuing assisting tv writers with scripts around domestic and sexual violence, whilst writing her first book. Oh, and she's a columnist for Babes!

Aspirational? Heck yes, there's no glass ceiling for this girl! Inspirational? The men and women she trains are testimony to that! She has come a long way in the past 4 years, and this is just the beginning.
