2007 Annual Lunch Recap

Number Seven. Lucky for some. And certainly that was the case on Friday, 7th December 2007. What a day it was. A room full of Brisbane's best and brightest babes, intent on toasting the successes of this year and gearing up for an even more wonderful 2008.

Nova's Emily-Jade O'Keefe did a magnificent job of keeping us entertained, and who will forget the moment when 42 babes at once called 'BINGO' as their numbers came up.

Again we want to thank our loyal sponsors, especially Triumph and Fosters for their ongoing support, along with all of our sponsors and partners who got behind this year's awards and provided amazing prizes on the day.

The MummaBubba Beauty Bar was run off its feet with beautiful babes lining up for make up and eyelash extensions, and our award winners lived up to their titles, MummaBubba's Most Eligible Babe, Alex Bernard giving one of our lovely Dally's male models a special squeeze.

The Terry White Chemist Entrepreneur Babe award winner Sacha Drake later showed just why she is unstoppable. Rather than spend the remainder of a marvelous evening at a taxi rank, facing a lengthy wait, an ingenious plot was hatched: to hail a Ute, with said driver suitably impressed with PR Whiz Caitlin Gentle, donning (of course) a show-stopping Sacha Drake frock.

It didn't take much persuasion (and the knowledge that he would be chauffeuring a famous designer!) before the driver invited the three girls to pile into vehicle for a cozy ride home. Nonplussed, the driver detoured significantly to drop his new babes to Paddington and the city before making his own way home (in the opposite direction).

Not only did the unassuming boy win the company of these fabulous girls, he also secured a bonus tip.

"Naturally I offered him a $50 Terry White Chemist voucher to get us home ... we didn't want him to think that 3 tipsy women would be offering anything else!" Sacha laughed.

The party continued long into the evening at Byblos Bar and Restaurant, with DJs, Bongos and Saxophones creating the ultimate sub tropical soiree on the wharf at Portside.

Thanks for a great day. There's so much more to come in 2008 so join up and see you then.
