I most feel like a Babe when: I'm sipping champagne and enjoying a decandent pedicure with my best friend in our sensory spa lounge at Stephanies Spa Retreat, Sofitel.

I love coming to work each day because: Because I absolutely love working within the spa industry.

I always knew I wanted to: Be a beauty therapist from the age of three when I stole my mums lipstick and perfume and shared it with the pre school class at Happy Day Kindergarten in Broken Hill.

The one thing that got me where I am in my career today was: The support and love that my family has given me throughout my life.

I feel most challenged in my career when: Dealing with the younger generation when issues occur at work.

I feel most successful in my career when: I stop and reflect on how beautiful and successful my day spa's have become over the last 17 years of business.

The highlight of my career so far has been: Achieving an award and going to Paris for the first time with our product supply company "Thalgo" and looking out of my hotel window and seeing the Eifel Tower for the first time in all its glitter. "Yes I did cry"

If I wasn't in my current role I'd like to be: Working with animals

The best piece of advice I have ever received was: From my Dad who I greatly miss everyday: "Life is forever changing. So be prepared."

Next on my professional agenda is: Opening up "Stephanies Mountain Spa" at Clear Mountain Lodge. Very exciting ... and very beautiful

To me, work/life balance means: Having clarity and appreciating every aspect of my life.

In ten years time I hope to be: able to see more of the world and write a book about my journey within the beauty and spa industry.

I relax by: By being surrounded by my 2 little dogs and spending time with my Husband

The best holiday I ever had was: Travelling through France and Italy

My greatest love is: My husband Desmond, "my rock".

My favourite time of day is: Early Evenings with a glass of wine.

Something that makes me really happy is: When everyone is happy.

Something that makes me really mad is: Negativity and bad attitudes.

My favourite childhood memory is: So many wonderful loving memories, I am so lucky!!

The most interesting person I ever met was: I meet interesting people everyday with my job. From celebrities to my very loyal clients that visit my spas.

My biggest regret is: Unfortunately not spending more time with my Dad before he passed away from Prostrate Cancer.

My greatest achievement is: Watching my business grow over seventeen years and setting up an exquisite day spa at Brisbane Sofitel.

My word to the wise for all Babes in Business: Make a plan, stick to it through thick and thin, learn and most importantly have fun and love everything you do. Life is too short.
