The 2009 Triumph Annual Babes in Business Lunch wrap

It was a celebration like no other at the 2009 Triumph Babes in Business annual lunch as the Brisbane's top female business women raised their glasses and toasted their milestone tenth year of these prestigious events, December 4 at Gianni Events.

Our theme for the day was a decade 'Deals and Decadence' and it definitely rang true - the tables were crammed full of cupcakes and chocolate, Foster's bubbly was free flowing, there was the luxurious Triumph Picture Parlour and Aveda Experience from Mummabubba.

The lunch also featured an indulgent dessert bar dubbed the Babe-alicious buffet, that was devoured by sugar loving Babes, and the excitement of the day was an exhibition type game of luck where every woman was awarded a prize ranging from designer dresses and spa treatments, to movie packs and gorgeous jewelry, in a new initiative called the Gift Shop.

We also continued our annual tradition by presenting the Babes in Business Awards for 2009.

But not only was the day about fun and frivolity, it had a serious side as well and was held in support of Youngcare, providing residential care to young people with high care needs.

A charity raffle boasting Holidays from Quickbeds.com and Daydream Island, an Audi escape, Sue Bryce photography package and Gary Castle's designer shoes raised almost $10,000 for Youngcare and will be used to support their new Gold Coast development.
